Hello, I am delighted to join the SEN team as a SEN teacher covering years 9-13, and looking forward to embarking on an exciting year ahead. I graduated from University with a degree in English Language, Linguistics and Education, completing my PGCE straight away from Northumbria University. I have been a teacher for over 10 years now, exciting to be starting my second year within GEMS

FirstPoint. During my teaching career I have worked in a variety of schools and age ranges, been a leader of computing and E-safety, as well as becoming a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. My approach towards teaching is to foster a happy and fun learning environment, meeting each child’s needs to the best of my ability to understanding their individual barriers to learning. I am very excited to be meeting your child soon and look forward to being part of their learning journey in such a wonderful school.
