Fiona Curtis

Head of all Houses

Miss Curtis is originally from Hull in England and has wanted to be a teacher since her very first day at school. In 2015, she graduated from the University of Northumbria with a BA (Hons) degree in Early Primary Education. After graduating, she spent some time travelling the world and working with nursery children before joining the FPS team in January 2018.

Miss Curtis first taught in our desert school and part of FS2. In 2019, she successfully completed her Newly Qualified Teaching status with us in Year 1 and has been a Year 1 teacher for two years. Miss Curtis will be moving up to Year 3 next year and will be taking on the new role of Primary Innovation Lead as well as continuing her role as Head of House.

Miss Curtis is passionate about inspiring students to be their very best and was able to lead the Water Shark team to victory last year. She has developed the House Social media and has a keen interest in using technology across the school to motivate students, spread positive messages and celebrate achievements. Miss Curtis is excited to work with her new house team, be part of the house events and competitions and hopes to raise the house cup once again.
