Emily Gallone

I am originally from Durham in the North East of England. I started my teaching career in 2014 after graduating from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Early Primary Education. During this time, I travelled to Peru working in a girls Orphanage teaching them English as an additional language. I began my career in a small school, where I worked for two years before moving to Dubai to begin my journey at FirstPoint School. 

Outside of school, I am a keen runner and gym goer and have played rugby both at home in the UK and here in Dubai.  I am always up for a fitness challenge whether it’s climbing mountains or running races. I enjoy reading novels and travelling to new countries.

This is my 7th year at FirstPoint School, since being at FPS I have taught across KS2 and spent 5 years as a Year Leader. I am now Assistant Head Teacher of Teaching and Learning and I am delighted to lead the development of our curriculum. I am passionate in ensuring all Teaching and Learning delivered at FPS is motivating enabling children to achieve academically, whilst nurturing them socially and emotionally to become confident, independent learners.
