Assistant Head Teacher
Miss Gallone is originally from Durham in the North East of England. She started her teaching career in 2014 after graduating from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Early Primary Education. During this time, she travelled to Peru working in a girls Orphanage teaching them English as an additional language and basic maths, English and social skills. She began her career in a small town school in Spennymoor where she worked for two years before moving to Dubai to begin her journey at FirstPoint School.
Miss Gallone has been at FirstPoint School for 6 years now, since being at FPS Miss Gallone has taught across KS2 as well as being Year Leader. Most recently, Miss Gallone is delighted to take on the role of Assistant Head Teacher of Teaching and Learning. She truly loves the curriculum and topics children have the opportunity to engage with at FPS and makes it her mission to develop an aspiring and challenging curriculum for children.
She is passionate in ensuring all Teaching and Learning delivered at FPS is motivating enabling children to achieve academically, whilst nurturing them socially and emotionally to become confident, independent learners. In her spare time, Miss Gallone enjoys running, hiking and generally staying active.
