Emily Gallone

Assistant Head Teacher

I am originally from Durham in the North East of England. I started my teaching career in 2014 after graduating from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Early Primary Education. During this time, I travelled to Peru working in a girls Orphanage teaching them English as an additional language and basic maths, English and social skills. I began my career in a small town school in Spennymoor where I worked for two years before moving to Dubai to begin her journey at FirstPoint School.

I have been at FirstPoint School for 6 years now, since being at FPS I have taught across KS2 as well as being Year Leader. Most recently, I was delighted to take on the role of Assistant Head Teacher of Teaching and Learning. I truly love the curriculum and topics children have the opportunity to engage with at FPS and I make it my mission to develop an aspiring and challenging curriculum for children.

I am passionate in ensuring all Teaching and Learning delivered at FPS is motivating enabling children to achieve academically, whilst nurturing them socially and emotionally to become confident, independent learners. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking and generally staying active.
