Emily Gallone

Year 5 Leader
 

Miss Gallone is originally from Durham in the North East of England. She started her teaching career in 2014 after graduating from Northumbria University with a BA (Hons) in Early Primary Education. During this time, she travelled to Peru working in a girls Orphanage teaching them English as an additional language and basic maths, English and social skills. She began her career in a small town school in Spennymoor where she worked for two years as a Year 3 teacher before moving to Dubai to begin her journey at FirstPoint School. 

Miss Gallone has been at FirstPoint School for 4 years now, beginning teaching in Year 4 and moving to Year 3 to become Year Leader where she has now worked for 3 years. Miss Gallone is delighted to assume the role of Year 5 leader for this new academic year. She truly loves the curriculum and topics children have the opportunity to engage with at FPS and makes it her mission to develop these yearly taking on board, strengths from last year and developing these further to ensure inspiring lessons for children.

She is passionate in developing new and exciting ideas that will not only motivate children to achieve academically, but nurture them socially and emotionally to become confident, independent learners. In her spare time, Miss Gallone enjoys running, hiking and generally staying active.
