Key Stage Two at FPS
Key Stage 2
Welcome to Key Stage Two at GEMS FirstPoint School, where possibilities and opportunities are truly endless!
We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing environment where children feel valued as they achieve their aspirations. An emotionally comfortable but academically challenging location, where our youngest pupils show courage in their endeavours and the eldest display conviction in their ideals. We are more than a school, we are a thriving community where children thoroughly enjoy being themselves.

Overview
Our enriched international curriculum gives students a number of opportunities to develop competencies and an understanding of the world and cultures in it. The Ministry of Education (UAE) has developed a regionally renowned curriculum for the learning of Arabic and Islamic that is second-to-none. Followed correctly, students will finish Key Stage 2 prepared for entry into the higher levels of learning and be well rounded, intellectual and global learners ready to take on greater challenges.
Our curriculum throughout all ages encourages students to enquire and develop their critical thinking skills. Development of leadership qualities and skills will be put into practical application in Key Stage 2, providing each student with the opportunity to share class and school responsibilities that nurture organisational skills, co-operation, accountability and team spirit. Enterprise and entrepreneurship will be key features of school life.
Students in Key Stage 2 will prepare for the UAE International Benchmark assessments as prescribed by the KHDA.
