    Baz Nijjar

Assistant Principal of Specialism and Head of Centre of Excellence

  • For us here at FPS, Esports and games design goes beyond just courses. We use our specialist teaching and facilities and we start early, so our students learn these skills in EYFS and KS1.

Therefore, these qualifications are grown out of our excellence, but also our well established culture. For example… Esafety lies at the heart of our provision and is something we address in computing classes, across our curriculum and in every classroom. We offer gaming tournaments and live events where people can compete against other FS students as well as internationally and  against other students in different countries.

So…. by offering Esports opportunities and game design qualifications, we are showing that we live and breathe innovation… and we want to give the students of Dubai and the UAE a real chance to be the first to study ground breaking qualifications that will make them the innovators of the future.
