School Canteen

We are delighted to inform you that the canteen will be fully open again this academic year, with
updated healthy food options for our students. Please see below the protocols in place for students across the school.

Nursery

Nursery children must be provided with their own packed lunch and snack in clearly labelled
containers. There is not an option for parents to pre-order food for their children and we do not
have facilities to re-heat food. As always, please provide healthy options and note that we are a
nut free school, so please do not pack nut-based products (such as Nutella) in your child’s lunch
box.

FS1 – Year 3

Students may pre-order snack and lunch and have this delivered to classrooms during their
break/lunch times. The online ordering form is open from Tuesday each week, with a deadline of
Friday for food to be ordered for the following week. The menu can also be accessed using the
order form link here.

Year 4 – Year 6

Students use the dining room at lunch times and may either bring their own packed lunch or have
their student ID card credited with funds to purchase lunch in the dining room. We encourage Year
4-6 students to bring their own snack for morning break time as this time is spent in the classroom
(or outside in cooler weather), however, should you wish for your child to purchase a snack from
the dining room at morning break time this is an available option. Please credit your child’s ID card
by going to the Parent Portal or GEMS connect application.

All Primary Students

During morning break on a Friday, the school canteen is not accessible for Primary students.
Please ensure that you send your child with a snack and water bottle to school each Friday.

Secondary School

All Secondary students will be given the opportunity to use the dining room facilities at both break
and lunch time. However, if you would rather your child did not use the school canteen for their lunch, then
please ensure that they come to school with a full packed lunch and water bottle each day.
