Dear Parents and Students,
It is with great pride and genuine excitement that I write to you as the new Principal of FirstPoint School. I am delighted to be joining this vibrant community and to be embarking on this journey together with you at the start of the new academic year. Our staff have already been working with energy and care to ensure that the school is fully prepared to provide every student with inspiring, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences.
As I join FirstPoint School, I want to take a moment to share how honoured I feel to be entrusted with leading such a community. I am very much looking forward to getting to know our students and families, meeting new faces, building strong relationships, and becoming an active part of school life.
At the core of my leadership is a strong belief in a truly student-centred education. Every decision we make is guided by what will best support our students to flourish, academically, socially, and personally. We are committed to creating an environment where every learner feels valued, known, and supported. I firmly believe that every student is unique, with their own talents and aspirations, and it is our responsibility to nurture those strengths, remove barriers, and ensure that every young person is able to reach their full potential.
Joining a school brings both opportunity and responsibility, and I am particularly excited about the potential of FirstPoint School to continue to grow and excel. I am passionate about fostering a culture of high expectations, strong relationships, and meaningful opportunities both in and beyond the classroom. Whether through academic study, leadership roles, or wider co-curricular activities, we want every student to discover their strengths, develop confidence and resilience, and achieve their own personal success.
