Jemma Peers

Foundation Stage 1 Leader

Miss Peers is from Flintshire a small town in North Wales. She studied her Primary Education degree at Glyndwr university in Wales and qualified in 2008. After qualifying from her degree Miss Peers worked in a number of schools across Flintshire. In 2010 Miss Peers began working in a Nursery School, which ignited her passion for the Early Years. Miss Peers joined the foundation stage at GEMS FirstPoint School in 2014 when the school first opened its doors. She has had the opportunity to see the school develop and grow into the outstanding school it has become today. 

Miss Peers teaches in FS1 and leads the highly motivated FS1 team. She is a very experienced teacher and has an expert knowledge of child development. Miss Peers is always conscious of the children’s well-being and her kind and nurturing nature makes every child feel valued, respected and cared for. Miss Peers has a real passion for ensuring that every child’s needs are met and is passionate about teaching children to love learning and inspiring them to thrive.
