Matthew Flower
Head of Year 13
I am from Arundel, a small medieval market town in West Sussex. I graduated from the University of Warwick with a Frist Class BSc (Hons) degree in Biological Sciences.
I started my teaching journey through Teach Frist, a charity which aims to address educational disadvantage in England and Wales through the participation in a two-year training programme that involves the completion of a PGDE along with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Before moving to Dubai I spent 6 years at a British Boarding school on the South East coast of England where I was Deputy Housemaster and Assistant Head for the whole school.
I am passionate about celebrating student achievements and aim to motivate pupils to achieve to the best of their ability. I am very excited to start my first Year at FPS by being Head of Year 13 and am looking forward to getting to know both parents and students.
During my spare time I enjoy playing golf and am looking to (hopefully!) lower his handicap on the courses in Dubai. I am also a keen traveller and love to visit new countries to experience different cultures.
