Matthew Flower

Head of Year 13

Mr Flower is from Arundel, a small medieval market town in West Sussex. He graduated from the University of Warwick with a Frist Class BSc (Hons) degree in Biological Sciences.

Mr Flower started his teaching journey through Teach Frist, a charity which aims to address educational disadvantage in England and Wales through the participation in a two-year training programme that involves the completion of a PGDE along with a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Before moving to Dubai Mr Flower spent 6 years at a British Boarding school on the South East coast of England where he was Deputy Housemaster and Assistant Head for the whole school.

Mr Flower is passionate about celebrating student achievements and aims to motivate pupils to achieve to the best of their ability. He is very excited to start his first Year at FPS by being Head of Year 13 and is looking forward to getting to know both parents and students.

During his spare time Mr Flower enjoys playing golf and is looking to (hopefully!) lower his handicap on the courses in Dubai. He is also a keen traveller and loves to visit new countries to experience different cultures.
