FPS will provide a specialised gaming setup with industry level hardware and software and use of the creative media suite and digital immersive space.

Specification Pearson BTEC International Level 3 Esports

BTEC Esports – Level 3: 360 guided learning hours equivalent to 1 A-level.

Students will be engaging in a variety of topics to support the knowledge and skill development of Esports linked to business, enterprise and industry. We have industry qualified staff leading the course with a professional background and personal interest in Esports.

Pearson: The Esports industry is growing exponentially around the world but it is organised and classified differently in each country. Is it a sport? Is it a game? Through this qualification; learners will develop an understanding of the Esports and traditional sports industries and the careers they could pursue in Esports.

Game Design

BTEC International Level 3 Creative Media

BTEC Creative Media – Level 3: Game Design. 360 guided learning hours equivalent to 1 A-level.

Students will be engaging in a variety of topics to support the knowledge and skill development of game design. We have industry qualified staff leading the course with a professional background and qualifications in game design, including the 1st teacher to have Unreal Engine accreditation in the UAE.

Pearson: Creative Media spans a broad range of specialisms and purposes, but all practitioners in the creative industries work to enrich or improve the world around us. Before entering the industry, creative practitioners need to explore and refine different interrelated creative media practices in order to develop technical and communication skills and build confidence for producing outcomes to meet a need or fulfil a purpose. The Subsidiary Diploma has been designed for learners who wish to pursue a career in the creative industries via higher education, to access graduate entry employment.
